Thanks for stopping by. I used to be vigilant about only commenting on do follow blogs but I don’t really care now – they both seem to pass some link juice. I usually just do a search on google (blogsearch.google.com) for my topic and post away. About half of them get through and from that a few of them are do follow.

I made this blog do follow once and the spammers came out in droves so I changed it back – I might change it back again one day

I like the niche sites and I do use amazon mostly. I’ve read xfactor’s stuff though so can see it would work as well with adsense. Most of my adsense sites right now are info based, not product based but that might change in the future – I’m going to do some testing.

Yeah I never want a job again – I hate working for other people. I much prefer doing my own thing and as long as it’s profitable then hey why not!

I know what you mean about having no time. I hear all these other marketers talking about putting in 6 to 8 hours a day and then look around at everything that has to be done in my ‘real’ life and just shake my head! LOL. But you can still do this with just a hour here and there it just takes a bit longer. And I still love it so wouldn’t give it up for anything (and the money is pretty nice too –

It’s so true that you just need to keep working at it. I think that’s why a lot of people give up in the beginning because they don’t see immediate results. Pity, because there is a lot of money to be made if you just put the time and effort in.

I think 2010 will be a much better year (although 2009 was pretty good too). Even though I’ve got a pretty good grasp on what works and what doesn’t now, I’m still always learning new things and building more sites so that’s more potential income – yah!

Good to hear the pregnancy is going well. The time will fly and before you know it your little one will be turning 3!

I completely agree with you re people and internet marketing. I got started by sending my father to a World Internet Summit seminar in June 2007 when my daughter was only 6 weeks old. My father gave me the information and so far I have managed to create a small income online. Yes it is small, however it is a start. When you are doing this around a toddler you do not have a lot of time.

Well my father still hasn’t done anything re online stuff yet asks me every couple of weeks what I am doing. People need to just bite the bullet and do one day, one hour at a time and before they know it they will have a business!

Just like you mentioned, it does take time and effort to start seeing money from online work. I am currently boring myself silly trying to increase the backlinks to each of the sites I own. Once I get through that I will be able to get back to the interesting part which is finding great keywords and writing about brand new stuff.

Have to remember that this is a marathon and not a sprint.

Strangely though I find Amazon to be the worst performer of the 3 – the purchase to click through rate is diabolical! No idea why this is. Sorry to anyone not following. Don’t wish to be too techie here.
