I'm making money online so I don't have to get a Job
27 Apr
Yes its true, over the past few weeks I’ve been building websites with Build A Niche Store (BANS) and I have to say I’m very impressed.
As you know I’m a major cheapskate when it comes to buying yet another ‘make money online’ ebook/software/scam and rarely fork out my cash unless I feel something is truly worthy – and I have to say that I fully endorse BANS. It’s a great EASY way to make affiliate money from eBay.
So how does it work?
After buying the Build A Niche Store software ($97) you then upload it to your server and create a niche store that will direct customers to eBay through your ‘store’. If they buy something you get a commission.
How do you get paid?
You need to sign up to be an eBay affiliate through their new eBay Partner Network affiliate program. eBay pays you your commissions through PayPal.
How many stores can I create using BANS?
As many as you like! Once you buy the software you can create as many different stores as you want to.
How much could I make?
Well this depends on your niche, how much work you want to put in etc, but I’ve seen people who make thousands per week. But let’s be realistic for a sec, most of us average folk usually make around $200 per month per store. Therefore if you created 100 stores – you have the potential to earn around $20,000 per month!
Not bad I think you’ll agree!
How long does it take to start earning money?
Like any new website, you have to give it time to get indexed in the search engines and have the traffic start visiting your store. I think most stores start to reach their full potential at around the six month mark. However most people start to see a trickle of commissions coming their way as soon as 1 or 2 weeks after their first store is created.
Is it easy to use?
Yes, extremely easy! The software comes with full instructions on installation and creating your store. The only hard part is trying to narrow down what you want your store to sell!
I fully recommend Build A Niche Store as a way of earning eBay commissions. Check it out for yourself!

Hi Tracy! Just got your email and I have to confess that I too am a BANS addict! I absolutely LOVE that program and the more you use it the more addicting it becomes! Thanks for your review…..and it’s all true.
Hi Tracey,
Congratulations on your success with BANS – I could kick myself
for not trying it sooner – a couple of guys on WA were reporting
their success a few months ago and I was tempted but I just went on promoting what I had without much success I must say…
You mention “eBay’s new affiliate program” – I have had an eBay affiliate link for a couple years – do they really have a new
program?
If I buy (I should say when) a store I will buy through your link,
Peace to you,
Fran
Hi Fran, Yes eBay has gone inhouse with their own affiliate program, they aren’t doing it through Commission Junction anymore. You can sign up here: Ebay Partner Network (not affiliate link).
Thank you Tracey,
I signed up to Ebay Partner – I’ll get started with a classified..
Peace
Fran
Hi Tracy,
This is’nt anything to do with the above blog well partially, this am. I received “Auction Classified Adds” promotion from John Thornhill the only thing I’ve done with eBay is sell personal items years age, always been afraid of venturing in to the Business area, but I have to say I’m interested in your promotion. What I need to know is would I need a website of any sort. Yeah that is probably a v. stupid question but I may as well ask as a newbie.
Many thanks in anticipation of a reply.
Cheers
Carol
Hi Carol,
Well a website will make things easier, but it isn’t necessary. If you are going to offer a free report in order for people to take your offer then you need somewhere to put it.
There are plenty of places where you can put your report for free if you want to try that.
Hope I’ve helped!
Tracey
Tracey,
I realize this is an older post but, I was reading your newest post about christmas cash and came across this one. The funny thing is, I was just reading about BANS earlier today for the first time on a different blog.
I am going to give it a go! I have been selling on eBay for years then I dove into the IM stream. I make good money now, but I miss eBay.
I just had some quick questions about BANS, how do you promote? articles I’m assuming. How many sites are you running? How much do you typically average per site if you don’t mind me asking?
Thanks for time! Please feel free to email me if you wish. (I’m also on your list) Maybe you might post a BANS update here on the blog
Tim Brydges
Hi Tim,
I haven’t done much to promote my BANS sites, just a few articles (in fact less than 10 for each site). I only have two BANS sites at the moment. One does jack all and the other brings in about $100 a month. Pretty good for something I barely touch. I really need to get more sites set up, just haven’t had the time.
Tracey
Finally made my mind up about purchasing the BANS so I’ll buy it through your link Tracey because I love your blog!
Regards
Joseph
Wow Joseph, thanks so much. Make sure you add some original content to your site and get some backlinks to it for it to rank well and make you some money.
Good luck with it.
Tracey
Hi Tracey,
I was wondering if you still find BANS is working for you. I have seen several posts elsewhere that say BANS is not worth it now because the site may be sold.
I hate to admit this but I have BANS and have never done anything with it – I want to now but is it still working.
Thanks for the input
@ Judy
I don’t use BANS anymore. It can still work, but they don’t rank well in Google, so you’ll need to find other ways to get traffic to your site – article marketing, ppc etc. If you want to promote ebay products, I think you are better off creating hubpages and adding the ebay capsule from there. Hubpages DO rank well on G.
