I'm making money online so I don't have to get a Job

In part 3 of my review of Tim Gorman’s Article Marketing Lifeline I’ll look at the last two bonus reports, so that I can then start looking at the main product (which I’ve nearly finished going through – one more video to go).
Bonus Report #2 – 6 Figures from Adsense using Article Marketing
This little report is only 9 pages long but is quite inspirational as it outlines Tim’s plans and strategy to make $180,000 with Adsense in 2009.
I actually really loved this report because it broke down the steps required for him to meet that goal in mathematical terms I could relate to. i.e. if one site makes $x then you’ll need 10 x $x sites to meet your goal.
I have actually seen this report before (although my version had Tim’s article blitz strategy included in it – which is one of THE BEST products and strategies I’ve ever seen).
I also know that Tim has changed this strategy for 2010 and now focuses on fewer sites making more money. And because of this I believe he also plans to release an updated version of 6 Figures from Adsense for all customers. I really hope so because it’s one of my favourite reports.
Bonus Product #3 – An Article Marketing Mindmap
If you are a visual person then you’ll probably like this mindmap but I’m not (I prefer video or written step by step instructions) so didn’t get a lot out of this. It’s basically a one page diagram showing various ways to link up to your article page to give it more juice. Great if you like this sort of thing though.

So there you go, a good overview of the bonus reports, but of course these are just the icing on the cake, and you want to know about the real meat of the product don’t you?
Well get ready it’s time to look at the main products that make up Article Marketing Lifeline in my next post… (and these are REALLY GOOD).

I’m going to start my review of Article Marketing Lifeline by Tim Gorman with the Bonus Reports, because frankly I haven’t finished going through the entire main product yet (there is so much here!).
So let’s start with the bonus report #1 – 15 Lessons learned from 1500 article submissions.
This report is 21 pages long and from what I can tell it was written in 2008 and given away as a free report around that time. Since then I’m guessing that Tim has gone on to write well OVER 1500 articles (I know he uses several pen names as well) so I’m sure he knows even more now.
It makes my measly 500 or so articles pale in comparison.
So what does he tell us?
Many of his discoveries will not be anything new and you probably know some of them already (such as article marketing is great for free traffic), and while this report doesn’t give you any specific strategies for using article marketing to make money online, it does answer some myths about what works and what doesn’t.
For example, he talks about using PLR and how it is still possible to make good money without changing the PLR articles and putting them on your blog and monetising with Adsense. I’m a bit wary of this method, especially since Google has since been cracking down on MFA sites, and perhaps this might have worked in 2008 but I’m not convinced that it will still work today.
He does say however, that he doesn’t submit unchanged PLR to article directories (which is good because the bigger players like ezinearticles.com don’t accept them anyway), and mainly uses them for his own blogs or reports.
But there is some really good info as well. He tells us which element is the most important factor to get right in your article and will make the difference between a handful of views and an avalanche of views and considering he has 1 article that has generated over 70,000 he should know what he is talking about.
He is also a big believer in using your articles on Web 2.0 sites (as I am too). And so gives up some tips on getting those web 2.0 properties to rank high in the serps as well.
This report goes on to provide some keyword research tips and how he finds great phrases to rank high with. I really enjoyed reading about how he does his keyword research and although he goes into more detail about this in his other reports (that are included in this package) it gives you a good overview of his findings from the articles that he has written.
Overall this report is a good read and will give you a good overview of what can and cannot be achieved with article marketing.
Next up I’ll review the next two bonus report’s – 6 Figures from Adsense & the Mindmap in my next post.
And as always you can buy article marketing lifeline here.

I’m going to start my Article Marketing Lifeline review with the sales page again, because this is where most people start when deciding if they are going to purchase a product or not. Plus I really get a kick out of the outlandish claims that some sales pages make when trying to sell their product.
At first glance it’s pretty much your standard sales page with the red headline benefit at the top (which in this case reads more like a good article title than a sales headline) and goes on to tell us the benefits of the product with a few testimonials thrown in and finally the big ‘click me to order’ button at the bottom. This page has three such buttons.
Now usually I read a page like this by looking at the headline first, then scrolling right to the bottom to see how much the product is before I actually read the page.
This is not a bargain product. It’s quite a substantial price at $67. (And call me cynical but why do internet marketer’s always have a higher price crossed out and then put the real price?)
Ok. So if I’m going to shell out that amount of money I’m going to want to see some real value, so next I usually see what exactly I’m going to get for my money.
Tim is offering a large bundle of article marketing resources that he has written or recorded himself (so no crappy PLR thankfully).
The first is his article marketing answers book, then his article marketing domination report, a video presentation of his 2008 System Seminar talk (and some extra bonus vids), a monthly report that will contain strategies and tips on article marketing and finally a special email address so that you can ask him any questions you like about article marketing.
He also offer’s three bonuses which are all reports: 15 Lessons Learned from 1500 article submissions, 6 figures from Adsense and an Article Marketing Mindmap.
So all in all – a massive amount of products.
I need to say that I already had his 6 figures from Adsense report (and it is excellent) which I got some months back (I can’t even remember from where).
I also like to read Tim Gorman’s posts on the Warriorforum because he gives away some really good writing and marketing tips from time to time.
But I don’t know him personally. And he certainly doesn’t have a clue who I am.
Well next post I’ll start to delve into the actual products (without giving away his secrets of course) so that you can get a better idea about what to expect if you purchase Article Marketing Lifeline.

Every month I usually change my focus based on what income I made the previous month. I usually keep an excel spreadsheet to keep track of the various affiliate programs and products that I promote to see where the most of my money is made.
Then I usually decide to work on the income stream that came in third place. I figure that first and second place must be doing well enough so I don’t need to focus on them and anything after the 4th place isn’t worth my time right now.
So third place is usually what I focus on for the following month.
In May third place went to Adsense again. (Which is pretty normal, I usually make the bulk of my money with Amazon, then Clickbank comes in 2nd and Adsense is usually third).
I don’t actually make a huge amount with Adsense yet, probably around $300 a month spread between a handful of sites.
I did notice that my HubPages adsense income has increased to about $30 a month though, so this month I’ll be writing more hubs which will accomplish two main goals. One I’ll be using them to backlink my best performing hubs and two, choosing keywords with a decent CPC.
My aim with Adsense is to get my sites earning around $50 a month each. I have one site that does quite a lot more than that, and many sites that don’t make nearly this amount. But that’s my goal for each of my Adsense sites including those like HubPages that have revenue share.
I also want to continue reviewing article marketing guides.
I have already reviewed a budget guide for $10 here, so now I want to review a guide at the other end of the price budget – a $67 product from Clickbank called Article Marketing Lifeline.
I’m actually quite excited about reviewing this product because it’s by Tim Gorman whose posts on the Warrior Forum I always like reading and I believe he really knows his stuff when it comes to article marketing so we will see.
I have ordered it, and there is a tonne of information here so I think this review is going to be quite long.
I’ll keep you posted.

First thing I notice is that the Auto Article Profits report is quite small. Just 19 pages. That in itself doesn’t bother me too much, as long as it contains good solid information and no fluff.
The first few pages are just talking about how great article marketing is, and basically trying to sell us on it again. Kind of boring – I just want to get to the meat. Much of the information is just a rehash of the sales page.
At Page 7 we actually get to the usable stuff with the mistakes that many people make with internet marketing. While he doesn’t actually tell you how to fix them yet, he does go over some important points including the differences between ‘article marketing’ and ‘content marketing’.
On Page 9 we actually get into the ‘do this, then that’ part of the eBook starting with what I consider the MOST important part of your article – the Title.
The title is what will actually get the eyeballs onto your article and it’s worth getting this right. Yes keywords are important, but knowing the hot buttons that will get people to read your article in the first place is key.
Next he talks about the summary of your article, the body, and the resource box (which I believe is the second most important part of your article).
One point I disagree with is including a short blurb about yourself in the resource box. I don’t think readers give a flying hoot about who you are, they just want to know what’s in it for them.
He does however go into more detail on what to include in the call to action to get them to your site or product. These are all really good tips and ideas for marketers.
You are also told how many articles he recommends per subject/niche, whether you should submit the same article to multiple sites and his recommended schedule for how many to submit per day/per week.
Finally the eBook finishes with strategies to how to repurpose your content for maximum benefit.
Overall Thoughts on Auto Article Profits
This is a sweet and simple little eBook on article marketing targeted to beginner’s in internet marketing. If you have yet to get started in article marketing then for $10 it’s not a bad buy, but if you are already an experienced marketer then you probably already know everything in here.
It does have a lot of ‘this is what you should do’ and not enough ‘this is HOW you do it’ but what do you expect for such a teeny price.
I think it’s priced right at $10, because you do get some nice little tips and it’s an easy guide to read. You don’t get any earth shattering new stuff and much of the information can be find online if you know where to look, but it’s good to have it all contained in the one place to refer to when needed.
