   l wander whether ebay have noticed your sneaky mention of your
   ebook.

   Silly me had my video set to private over at youtube! I’ve just changed it now to public so you should be fine to view it.

   Hello Tracey.
   I feel that personalizing in the internet is very important. Since I have started to learn about starting a website and internet marketting
   I have become very interested in other people’s sites, ads, sales letters, emails etc. I have found myself that I am very unresponsive to internet stuff that is impersonal or worse anonymous.
   I find that the more personal and upfront the marketter, seller etc is the more I identify with them and the more I feel inclined to join or buy the product etc. So when I finally do have my site , emails etc happening they will be very personal. Name, address, photos etc. Your video is very good from this perspective. I feel that it works well.
   I did not see your other videos but to me personally having yourself in the video would work better than without.
   On another note I also found the eBay page useful for seeing the possibilities for allowing contact by prospective buyers.

   Has eBay taken away the ability to have a sign in box on your add or is this somethig they are thinking about doing?

   Hi Tracey,

   Your blog post started me thinking about the next eBay auction I was preparing.

   I actually added a video into an eBay auction as well as using a web page hosted on one of my domains for larger/hi resolution photo’s of my item (complete with affiliate banners such as Auction Classified Cash!).

   I must say that both the video and photo page have received tremendous amount of traffic. The video has had, as of this morning, 171 views and the auction has had 300, all in 6 days. The item is now up to AUD$405.00.

   I like the video idea and recommend that everyone else should include a little bit of personalisation into their auction or any other web based business.
